How to care for your Lips

During the Day
Don't let brushing stop at your pearlies. Exfoliate your lips by gently brushing them with a baby toothbrush or terry washcloth once a week. This helps rid them of dry, flaky skin, making lips appear plumper and juicier. Finish by slathering on a lip balm containing shea butter cos it not only deeply moisture, it also improve the moisture retention capacity of your lips.

During bedtime
Pamper your puckers with luxurious lip care by smoothing on a rich mositure treatment before you hit the sack - especially if you sleep in an air-conditioned room. In case you forget, leave a lip balm by your bedside table. Do it every night and you'll wake up to softer lips in no time!

Before a party
We've heard it a thousand times....and still most of us don't drink enough. Drink more water and curb your alcohol and caffeine intake. But if you forget or don't have time to drink, here's how you can restore your puckers to the pink of health in a jiffy. Slather on a thick layer of Vasline and let it sit for a while. Buff off the excess with a cotton pad or washcloth to get rid of surface dead skin. Lips will be succulently soft and look healthy enough to go without a lipstick.

Outdoor
Suntanning is not only bad for your skin, it's a no-no for your lips too. Over-exposure to the sun can leave your lips desert-dry. If you plan on spending a great amount of time outdoors, protect them with a lip treatment or moisturiserb that comes with a bulit-in sunscreen.
